Chief Christopher Mannino

A native of the area and growing up in neighboring Richton Park, Illinois, Chief Christopher Mannino joined the Park Forest Police Department in 1997. He has served in a wide variety of law enforcement roles throughout his career, including assignments in the Patrol Division, Investigations Division, Administration Division, as a member of the Special Operations Group, as the Field Training Coordinator, as an Investigator with the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force and as a team leader with the ILEAS Mobile Field Force. He is also a certified firearms, police fitness, less lethal, and handcuffing instructor. Chief Mannino holds a Master’s Degree in Political and Justice Studies from Governors State University and is a graduate of the 237th session of the FBI National Academy, where he served as a Section Leader.

Chief Mannino serves on the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police Public Relations Committee, Illinois Representative Anthony DeLuca’s Public Safety Committee, and the Village of Park Forest’s Race Equity and Leadership Steering Committee. He is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, FBI National Academy Associates, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police, and the South Suburban Association of Chiefs of Police.

Deputy Chief Paul Winfrey

Deputy Chief Paul Winfrey has over 20 years of law enforcement experience. He began his career with the Sycamore Police Department (IL) and joined the Park Forest Police Department in 1998. He has served in the Patrol Division, Investigations Division, Administration Division, as a Field Training Officer, and as a member of the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force. He is completing his Master’s Degree in Public Administration and is a graduate of the Northwestern University Police School of Staff and Command. He currently serves as Deputy Chief of Field Operations

Deputy Chief Brian Rzyski

Deputy Chief Brian Rzyski joined the Park Forest Police Department in 2000. Throughout his career he has served in the Patrol Division, Investigations Division, as a member of the Special Operations Group, and as an investigator with the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force. He is a certified Taser Instructor. Deputy Chief Rzyski is completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. He currently serves as Deputy Chief of Support Services.
