The American Heart Association now supports an initiative called Hands Only™ CPR. Hands Only™ CPR is a simplified version of the same CPR techniques used by EMTs and Paramedics.
The American Heart Association has found that most bystanders are worried that they might do something wrong or make things worse when a situation arises in which CPR is needed.
