Fire Safety Education Trailer
The Fire Safety Education Trailer was purchased in 2017 with the help of a grant from FEMA under the Assistance to Fire Fighters Grant program. The focus of the trailer is the live fire room that demonstrates the effectiveness of residential sprinkler systems. A residential fire sprinkler system is the safest means to protect lives and property. It is like having a firefighter in every room of your home 24 hours a day. All new homes and homes undergoing major renovations are required to have a residential fire sprinkler system in Park Forest. This education tool also has an interactive education display and a kitchen safety center in the interior.
