Bank of America (BoA) is bringing its Mobile Financial Center to the Village of Park Forest for three days, starting today, offering the community financial resources.
OAI Chicago Southland, a Park Forest business that specializes in workforce development, has partnered with BoA this week to provide complimentary financial education, credit counseling, homeownership workshops, small business coaching, and one-on-one financial guidance designed to improve access to critical financial services and enhance financial wellness in the community.
The Mobile Financial Center is stationed at OAI's office, 208 Forest Blvd., from today through Wednesday. It will be open to the public from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday, and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Bank of America Chicago President Rita Cook said that, with the partnership with OAI, together they can help residents in communities like Park Forest along their financial journey.
“At Bank of America, we are deeply committed to advancing economic mobility in the communities we serve, and that starts with making financial education resources available and accessible, particularly in areas with a higher concentration of households with low-to-moderate incomes," Cook said. "Through our community-centered approach with partners like OAI, we focus on helping our neighbors wherever they are on their financial journey by building trust, confidence, and financial know-how across a spectrum of topics that matter most to them.”
