Since 1974, the Park Forest Community Market, formerly the Park Forest Farmers’ Market and Main Street Market, has connected area residents with local farmers, food vendors, artisans, and small businesses. The Market serves Park Forest and surrounding communities by providing access to local seasonal produce, baked goods, artisan crafts, eco-friendly cleaning products, jewelry, and more every Saturday from May through October.
The Market accepts EBT/Link, WIC, and Senior Nutrition Coupons.
The Market is open Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., May 30 through Oct. 3.
Mission
The Park Forest Community Market’s mission is to promote a resilient and thriving local food community by connecting all our neighbors with access to fresh, locally grown and produced foods, homemade artisanal products, handcrafted goods, and value-added products while providing local entrepreneurs with an avenue to grow sustainable businesses.
