llinois Restaurant Association Educational Foundation Restaurant Employee Relief Fund

Restaurant Employee Relief Fund

Are you or someone you know employed by a restaurant?  Think of all our beloved cooks, mixologists, greeters, hostesses, and waitresses, to name a few whose lives have been upended by Covid-19. In response to the hardship caused by Covid-19, the Illinois Restaurant Association Educational Foundation has opened a grant of up to $500 to directly support restaurant employees facing an unforeseen hardship due to Covid-19.

Current qualification requirements are:

  • Workers who have been diagnosed with coronavirus or are a caregiver for an immediate family member who has been diagnosed with coronavirus, or quarantined with a doctor’s note, or
  • Out of work for three weeks or more without unemployment benefits.

This is a first come, first served opportunity. Do not delay. To apply visit https://www.illinoisrestaurants.org/page/ReliefFundApplication
