Mulch and EQ Compost

The Village of Park Forest offers free mulch and Exceptional Quality Compost to its residents. For a delivery fee of $35, the Village will deliver a dump truck-load of mulch or compost to an address within Park Forest. 

Pick-up: If you would like to pick up mulch or compost, please visit the Recreation and Parks Municipal Garage located at 75 Park St, Park Forest, IL 60466. The facility is open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Bring buckets or bags to make transportation easier.

Delivery: If you would like to arrange for delivery please visit the Recreation and Parks desk at the Village Hall or call (708) 748-2005. The $35 delivery fee can be paid with cash or credit card.

Where does our compost come from?

 A Metropolitan Water Reclamation District program! The MWRD composts biosolids from the water treatment process, saving waste from the landfill and providing free nutrient-rich compost to residents.
