The objective of the DBE Program is to ensure nondiscrimination in the award and administration of DOT-assisted contracts and transit, highway and airport projects; and to assist small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, including minorities and women in participating on DOT funded contracting opportunities.
