Taxi Please!Where to?
The Village of Park Forest Taxi Program...
The Village of Park Forest recognizes a need for transportation services, especially for senior citizens and physically disabled residents. The Village has initiated a program to subsidize taxicab rides for the eligible population.
How Does The Taxi Program Work?
- Park Forest residents 62 years and older, or physically disabled residents are eligible. Proof of eligibility is required when purchasing Taxi Tickets.
- Taxi Tickets cost $2.60 each, entitling eligible residents to a One-Way taxi ride from an authorized taxicab company. If more than one eligible person rides in the same cab, only one ticket should be given to the driver. Each person accompanying the ticket user pays $0.50 cents to ride along.
