Snow and Ice Removal

Tis the Season.......

During the winter months, the Public Works Department will be working hard removing snow from the village streets.  Public Works is responsible for 72 miles of roadway located within the Park Forest corporate limits. 

** IMPORTANT**

There is a parking ban on all Village arterial streets after a 2 inch snowfall between the hours of 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.  This is to allow the snow plows to effectively clean the village streets and this keeps your parked vehicle from being snowed in!

Public Works will plow and salt major village streets and intersections first, then plow and salt the residential streets.
