Trip Registration Information


•Recreation & Parks Department will need name, date of birth, address, phone number, and emergency number
 of each person registering for a trip.

•Trip return times are approximate and may change due to unforeseen circumstances and traffic.

•Refunds for trips may vary due to non-refundable tickets or fees. Refund requests made prior to the registration deadline of the trip will be cheerfully given less a 5% refund fee. Cancellations made by Recreation & Parks are
not subject to the 5% refund fee.

•Nothing kills a good trip quicker than waiting until the last minute to register! Please sign up early or the trip
 that you want may have to be cancelled.

You don't want to miss this day of laughter, good food and great company as we enjoy “My Son the Waiter” at North Shore Center in Skokie with a family style lunch at Maggiano’s. This Hit New York Comedy is Actor/Comedian Brad Zimmerman’s moving and hilarious story about the grit and passion required to “make it” as an artist and the sweet rewards that come from never giving up. 

Prior to the show we will be enjoying a family style lunch at Maggiano's, so bring an appetite! Fee includes motor coach transportation, luncheon and show. Registration deadline: June 12.

Main floor seating at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, motor coach transportation, and lunch at Heaven on Seven (authentic Cajun cuisine) included. The performance is for ages 7 years and older. All persons under 18 years old must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. Registration deadline: May 29th.

Shipshewana
Come enjoy one of the largest Amish communities in the world, with over a thousand vendors selling everything from fresh fruit to handcrafted furniture at the Shipshewana flea market. You can also walk a few blocks to the downtown area and visit a variety of shops, an antique auction, the Mennohaus Museum and much more. On the way home we will stop by Guggisberg Cheese and Rise-n-Roll bakery.
 
Fee includes motor coach transportation. Registration deadline: July 31.

Pullman Tour
Come visit America's First Complete-Planned Industrial Town. With the aid of visual guides, we will tour the area along with the well-preserved factory community. The tour will include a stop at the Pullman Visitors Center, the Pullman Porters Museum, the Greenstone Church and the on-going restoration of the factory grounds. Registration deadline: August 28.

A catered lunch at the Hotel Florence is included. Sandwich and beverage choice will be asked at registration.

Join us for the ultimate Route 66 experience led by the award winning Route 66 author John Weiss! 

We will travel to such places as Milltown Market in Wilmington, visit scenic downtown Dwight, spend time at the many shops and museums that Pontiac has to offer and much more.  You'll even have the opportunity to visit an original 1906 two cell jail, so bring your camera!

This tour will include two snacks and a luncheon at the Route 66 restaurant.  Fee includes motor coach transportation, tour guide, luncheon and all admissions.

The cruise begins with a delicious buffet style lunch and lively music from the past decades' greatest tunes. Then the fun really gets started with games such as slots, blackjack, poker, roulette, and bingo games, plus a chance to win great Spirit Prizes! Coffee, Iced Tea and Hot Tea are included.
