Reward now offered for information leading to arrest, charges of man in groping cases

The Park Forest Police Department continues to investigate a series of incidents in which young girls were approached by a male subject at times holding a knife. The offender robbed one of the victims in one incident while in the others groped the victims, either over or under their clothes. It is unknown if the same man is responsible for all of the assaults.

The suspect is described as being an African American male, approximately 5’8” to 5’10”, 160-185 pounds, and between 25-35 years old. The man may have misaligned and or yellow teeth. If you see someone who resembles the description and the composite sketch, please call 911 immediately.

If you have any information about the incidents or know the identity of the man responsible, please contact the Park Forest Police Department Investigations Division at 708-748-1309 and speak with either Det. DeCeault or Det. Morache. There is a $500 reward for any information that leads to an arrest and charges against the person(s) responsible for the above incidents.
