Park Forest sustainability plan to be featured at Sept. 25 conference

Did you know…

That Park Forest was ahead of its time? As a planned community built in the 1950s and 60s, Park Forest was conceived of as an early model for smart growth (decades before the term “smart growth” was popularized). The Village was specifically designed to provide its residents with walkable access to schools, places of worship, parks, and community centers.

Hear about Park Forest’s continuing planning and their recently completed Sustainability Plan at the CNU Illinois Seventh Annual State Conference. This event is co-hosted by the Village of Orland Park.

Thursday, September 25 | 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The Orland Park Civic Center, Jane Barnes Annex
14750 Ravinia Avenue
Orland Park, IL 60462

Attendees can access the most up-to-date event information on their smartphones and tablets using the Guidebook Mobile App.

This event has been approved for CNU-A continuing education credit.
